Collte, whose name came from "Code will tell you everything", is a niche social website where every user is given a unique bar-code to identify themselves and find each other. The target user group is around 20 years old, well-educated and values simplism, personality and privacy.
To echo its theme, I took a photo-realistic approach to the bar-code and tried to blur the boundary between the real and the digital. The color and graphic choices are made to appeal to its specific demographic.
